    Description

    Development Associate

    (Hybrid in Chicago)

    Our client a shared services provider for non-profit organizations - is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious junior associate to join their Development and Fundraising team.

    This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with a mission-based organization with great perks and strong opportunity for career growth.

    What you get to do

    • Donor relations, including processing and recording donations, tracking donor info, sending follow-up communications, resolving issues, etc.
    • Identify new donor prospects and conduct research/compile reports to share with clients on top leads
    • Manage database and produce reports (using Excel and Salesforce)
    • Virtual and in-person event coordination

    What you need to get the job done

    • Bachelors degree required
    • 1-4 years' of professional experience
    • Experience using Excel
    • Previous exposure to Salesforce preferred, but not required
    • Interest in public policy reform
    • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
    • Eagerness to learn and a customer-service mindset
