    NOTE: Candidate must be a current resident in the CHICAGO, ILLINOIS area to be considered for employment.

    The ideal candidate is self-driven at heart, with a passion for pursuing and achieving success. You will be responsible for prospecting new clients utilizing company approved tools and lead-generation tactics to create interest and demand for Electric Vehicle Charging stations and Solar + Storage Renewable Energy.

    SUMMARY

    Join a dynamic and prospering organization in EVunited, apply your passion for Sales in the exciting high growth market of sustainability, to include selling both Electrical Vehicle ("EV") charging stations and Solar, primarily to the commercial business sector The Business Development Associate (sales) position will require a highly motivated and self-driven sales individual that has a genuine interest in providing consultative selling of EV charging solutions and Solar + Storage Renewable Energy. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to learn more about EV charging, as the necessary product training will be provided. Success in this role will require an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent sales prospecting and closing skills, inclusive of demonstrating the ability to build trusted client relationships.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for overall management and development of your assigned sales territory
    • Create and execute territory plans, identifying new opportunities and drive revenue for the company
    • Demonstrate knowledge of EVunited's entire product line, with a focus on our commercial-grade Level 2, DC Fast Charging solutions and Solar + Storage Energy solutions.
    • Stay on top of industry and market trends related to EV charging, Electrical Vehicle Adoption and Solar to identify revenue generating opportunities
    • Be aware of and learn of applicable grant funding, rebates or other incentives that may be available for customers to leverage, educate your customers on incentives that may be available, build into your proposal as applicable
    • Complete Incentive or Rebate forms that may be applicable to a certain project, assist your customer with submission for approval
    • Build lasting and strong relationships with Customers and Partners
    • Work with EVunited Sales Management to prepare proposals and pricing agreements
    • Maintain relationships with other solution vendors and partners critical to EVunited solutions
    • Host events in your territory, workshops or training programs for existing & prospective customers in order to educate them about our products, their features, and the value they provide various customer segments
    • Exceed assigned sales quota objectives (monthly, quarterly and annual)
    • Identify new prospects and secure new meetings utilizing social tools (i.e. LinkedIn), email, phone calls, attend applicable events and networking functions as to establish your presence and EVunited brand in your territory

    Development:

    • Participate in training that may be requested of you to attend, seek to self-learn as necessary to be successful in your position, as well as leverage available training tools that may be available to you
    • Achieve Sales Certifications that may be required of your position
    • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales proposals / quotes

    Sales Administration:

    • Manage sales pipeline and track changes & updates for business contacts and opportunities in the CRM system
    • Accurately depict and maintain sales forecasts in CRM
    • Analyze and anticipate market developments from a commercial point of view

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Required:

    • Preferred 1+ years experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales selling into the commercial workplace or business sector.
    • College Degree or Equivalent
    • In-depth knowledge or willingness and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about EV charging market. Training will be provided.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude and a proactive approach
    • Strong writing and presentation skills
    • Experience or willingness to learn to sell into workplace verticals, utilities, education, healthcare and other verticals that may have a need for EV charging stations.
    • Strong computer skills.
    • Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
    • Ability to be proactive, flexible, confident, professional, self-motivated and self directed in a fast paced environment.
    • Self starter with an exceptional work ethic, uses time productively; is focused on the right opportunities; maximizes efficiency; and meets challenging work goals; must be self-driven and a team player

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    • Work from home / field sales. You will be required to cover your home state of residency, as well as neighboring states. Meeting with customers in person, out in the field will be necessary.
    • Job will require 30-50% travel to visit customer / project site locations, typically by auto only, dependent on customer assignment and business needs

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Prior sales training
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
