CloudHQ has state-of-the-art data center sites located in two Northern Virginia locations, as well as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, and Sao Paulo, and we anticipate exponential growth over the next several years both in the US and abroad.
What The Role Entails
CloudHQ seeks an Accounting Assistant to provide administrative support to the Operations accounting department. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to the Operations Accounting division in their duties for the organization.
Requirements:What You Will Get to Do
· Allocation of expenses to the appropriate jobs, entities, and general ledger accounts.
· Ensure that proper supporting documentation, receipts, invoices, etc, are maintained for each expense.
· Perform dashboard analytics over travel, entertainment, and credit card expenses.
· Assist in budget preparation, monitor spending, and provide financial reports to management.
· Monitoring of credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and other charges
· Assist Senior Accountants in preparing month-end close, monthly job cost reports and other required reports
· Maintain accounting documents and records
· Assist with other accounting projects as needed
What You Bring to The Role
· A minimum of an Associate degree in Accounting
· A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a professional business environment
· Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
· Task-oriented, results-driven, and capable of multi-tasking
· Experience meeting deadlines timely and consistently
· Self-motivated, unquestionable work
· Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work overtime as required
· Actively solicits feedback to ensure all responsibilities, activities and deliverables meet expectations
· Ability and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergency
· Expertise in Microsoft Office suite applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess
· Real Estate experience preferred
· Experience with Yardi or equivalent software
