Job DescriptionPrimary Function:The Help Desk/Technical Support Specialist will serve as a point of contact for help desk questions and trouble shooting. Our Information Technology (IT) team works with employees across nine office locations to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. V&K Benefits

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide telephone support as well as on-site support for users to determine symptoms, causes and resolutions to problems related to PC software, configuration management, network management, VPN support, wireless access support, phone support, video conference support, printer configuration, network and cloud applications for all employees
Perform advanced hardware and software support for laptop, desktop, and tablet PC's. This also involves upgrades, testing workstations, peripheral devices, user applications and other software
Provides basic level support for network servers
System maintenance for help desk ticket database that is utilized company wide
Develop, maintain, modify, and report on standard problems, resolutions, and decision trees for use by the entire team
Perform regular file maintenance of help desk ticket system software
Provide written documentation on any changes to the I.T. infrastructure

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
Desktop support experience with Windows 11 installation, support, patching and troubleshooting
Experience with Office 365 installation, support, patching and troubleshooting
Experience with Windows networking TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting
Installation and troubleshooting 3rd party applications on desktop experience
Strong verbal communication and people skills required
Experience troubleshooting network printers
Excellent attention to detail required
MAC OS experience a plus
Comp TIA A+ a plus
