A Clerk (m/f/d) for Statewide Surveys on Drinking Water Quality:
(temporary until December 31, 2025, full-time/part-time possible, pay scale EG TV-L, Department 52, location Duisburg)


YOUR TASKS:


  • Maintenance and further development of the statewide drinking water database for North Rhine-Westphalia
  • Integration of drinking water data and supply area data provided by health authorities into the statewide drinking water database
  • Preparation of annual reports according to 69 TrinkwV for the Federal Ministry of Health, verification of data completeness and plausibility, and evaluation of drinking water quality
  • Consultation of health authorities regarding data requirements and legal changes for drinking water reporting
  • Identification of key indicators for determining the status and changes in drinking water quality, processing of inquiries, and conducting database evaluations, presentation of results to authorities, professional audience, and the public

YOUR PROFILE:


_professional_:


  • Completed degree (at least Bachelor's or Diplom-FH) in chemistry, environmental sciences, water science, chemistry/environmental engineering, or a comparable technical or natural science field suitable for the tasks
  • Basic knowledge in the field of water supply/drinking water monitoring

advantageous:


  • Knowledge of evaluating/assessing raw water or drinking water quality data
  • Basic knowledge of hydrogeology and knowledge of the North Rhine-Westphalia region
