    Description

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field

    • Five or more years of project management and change management, particularly within the energy sector

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar systems

    • Excellent communication and verbal skills

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience with IntelligentCAD

    Day-To-Day:

    Our client is looking for a Change Manager to be based locally in Windsor Mill, MD. This individual will lead the development and implementation of a change management plan, involving stakeholder engagement, communication, change impact assessment, and coordination with various stakeholders.

    The Change Management Expert will bring a strategic and people-centric approach to the transition process.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

    • Assess Stakeholders: Identify all key stakeholders, including end-users, managers, IT staff, and executives

    • Customized Communication: Tailor communication to suit each stakeholder group, emphasizing the benefits of the transition and aligning it with organizational objectives

    • Frequent Updates: Keep stakeholders informed on progress, address concerns, and provide regular updates

    Change Impact Assessment:

    • Analyze Impact: Conduct a comprehensive impact assessment to understand the effects on processes, roles, and responsibilities

    • Risk Identification: Identify and address potential risks such as resistance and productivity loss

    • Mitigation Strategies: Develop strategies to mitigate risks and overcome challenges

    Training and Support:

    • Comprehensive Training: Design training programs for users at all levels

    • Hands-On Workshops: Conduct workshops and sessions to build user confidence

    • User Support: Provide post-transition support for users

    Pilot Testing:

    • Small-Scale Trial: Conduct a pilot program, gather feedback, and refine the process

    • Lessons Learned: Document insights from the pilot phase for future improvements

    Change Champions:

    • Identify Advocates: Appoint change champions within departments to promote the transition

    • Advocacy Role: Engage champions to address concerns and encourage adoption

    Technical Considerations:

    • Data Migration: Plan data migration from AutoCAD to IntelligentCAD

    • Integration: Ensure seamless integration with existing systems

    • Testing: Thoroughly test systems to identify and rectify any issues

    Timeline and Milestones:

    • Clear Timeline: Establish a realistic timeline for the transition

    • Milestone Tracking: Set milestones and monitor progress

    Resistance Management:

    • Proactive Approach: Anticipate and address resistance early on

    • Engage Skeptics: Involve skeptics in decision-making and address their concerns

    • Communicate Benefits: Continuously highlight the advantages of the transition

    Feedback Loop:

    • Feedback Mechanism: Establish channels for user feedback

    • Adaptability: Be open to adjusting plans based on feedback

    Celebrating Success:

    • Acknowledge Achievements: Celebrate milestones and successes

    • Recognize Efforts: Appreciate the contributions of change champions and users

    Compensation:

    $50/hr to $70/hr. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA accounts, 401k retirement account, paid sick leave, and other applicable benefits.
