    We are looking for a Construction Project Scheduler at a Specialist level for airport and other construction projects.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assemble schedules in clear and concise formats to fit client needs, including conducting research on material availability and labor practices, developing activity durations, assessing and responding to global project variables, integrating quantity takeoff or other constraints, documenting project assumptions, and issuing project reports.
    • Assist in maintaining schedule databases and scheduling software, including keeping data up-to-date and maintaining accessibility for staff across the company.
    • Manage or assist in managing a project team to complete Connico deliverables beyond schedules; including constructability reviews, project controls, escort or badging services, planning projects and related services, or other projects.
    • Participate in a project team, as required, to complete Connico deliverables not listed above, including estimating.
    • Produce quality deliverables working with both levels of detailed design and planning-level or ROM-level documents.
    • Train and mentor others on technical and non-technical topics, sharing knowledge through the company.
    • Lead or assist in leading an internal team to achieve project goals on projects, including on-time delivery of deliverables, producing reports which meet Connico's core values and high standard of quality, utilizing and training other Connico staff, communicating project changes or challenges to the company, and bringing the project in on budget.
    • Maintain client relationships and assist in maintaining client relationships through regular client interface, both on projects and through interaction not related to projects.
    • Assist in keeping report templates accurate, and provide input on how they are stored and accessed by staff.
    • Assist in coordinating quality management reviews for Connico deliverables, and lead reviews of individual quality elements.
    • If required, perform onsite construction observation, including document management, quantity tracking, and observation of construction activities.
    • Some travel may be required, including visits to conferences, client offices, project sites, or other company offices.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering/technology, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent knowledge required.
    • 2+ years ON-SITE construction related experience required; airfield experience preferred.
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications (both at high levels of design and at the planning stage), rough schedules, and architectural and engineering reports, required.
    • Proficiency using scheduling software programs (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 and Primavera OPC) is required.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients is required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Word and Excel is required.
    • 5+ years of construction scheduling experience in related market segments; aviation experience preferred.
    • Experience developing construction production rates for both civil and architectural related projects, including conceptual projects, is preferred.
    • Proven track record of managing, leading, and creating schedules on projects, including: responsibility for timeliness of deliverables, management of budget, integrating estimate elements from multiple divisions, and professionally communicating with clients.
    • Project Management PMP and/or Scheduling certification is preferred.
    • Experience in the aviation market is preferred.
    • Some travel may be required.

    Connico offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes a salary range starting at $100k+ with bonus opportunities as well as continuous growth opportunities. Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
