- Coordinate internal resources with service delivery partners to deliver technical solutions to clients
- Develop project plans to monitor and track progress
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Enhance department and organization by accepting ownership for various internal projects
- Provide support as needed to project specialists
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
- 5-7 years in project management experience
- Experienced User of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- In-depth knowledge cloud, colocation, and networking solutions
- Unique technical understanding of the product development lifecycle, including being able to identify opportunities to provide new solutions to customers
- Experience working within strong matrix organizations
- Ability to strive above and beyond to maintain ownership and meet objectives throughout the implementation
- Highly motivated problem solver with ability to overcome obstacles
- Willingness to adapt and accept change on an ongoing basis, we are always improving
- Ability to mentor other team members to help expand their knowledge base
- Strong customer facing etiquette and communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, and capacity to follow procedures

- Other training and experience may be substituted for the job requirements at the discretion of the manager
- A minimum of 30 hours a week will be devoted to work directly related to the Douglasville, GA Data Centers, with your physical presence required at the Douglasville site.

Description
The Customer Implementation team is responsible for all customer orders post-signings. The team works closely with the sales organization to implement solutions defined on sales orders. Once the implementation is complete, this team is responsible for transitioning the process to central support organization and the customer success team so that the solutions delivered to the customer can be supported, and the relationship can be maintained.
This is a senior level role on the Customer Implementation team. Managing some of our largest and most complex customers and orders on the Customer Managed Services side of the team. This position works closely with the sales organization, operations team, provisioning team, network engineering, and infrastructure teams. This role is primarily project focused with a goal on scalable and efficient results; time management, project execution, and managing project risk are a must. A strong combination of project management, understanding and implementing technical solutions, excellent communication and documentation skills is vital to the success in this role.
