As
the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all plant, property and equipment.

This position will develop and manage a maintenance department in a way that ensures the staff's technical capabilities meet the current and future operational demands.

This position will be based at our
Bourbonnais, IL Manufacturing facility.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain and improve emaintenance processes such as preventive maintenance, work order and spare parts inventory.
  • Develop the skills necessary for effective troubleshooting of plant equipment.
  • Manage immediate and longterm priorities of specific areas in the plant.
  • Develop and maintain an elevated level of process knowledge.
  • Ensure that safety procedures are followed always and maintain a good safety record.
  • Liaison with corporate engineering on moderate to large scope capital projects
  • Support other plant locations with technical issues will require travel, up to 10%.
  • Work with Plant Manager on Capital and Maintenance Budget.
  • Conduct Safety Audits and Safety Investigations when necessary.
  • Conducts Employee Performance Evaluation.
  • Administers discipline, including attendance tracking and performance memos.
  • Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:


  • 3+ years of maintenance supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks is a must.
  • Experience in electrical control/instrumentation troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, and computers.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and piping.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Good problemsolving skills.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts.
  • Must possess an excellent work ethic, including good attendance.
  • Must be customer focused.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow directions.
  • Experience and Ability to read and understand electric schematics and blueprints (preferred)

Education:


  • High School or GED Equivalent.
