- Lead product or process improvement projects with financial scope, guiding them from conception to commercialization. Support larger projects as part of the team, receiving specific objectives from the Engineering Manager or Senior Engineers.
- Provide leadership in designing, developing, and optimizing tissue manufacturing and converting equipment and processes to meet unit goals.
- Develop expertise in applying engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management. Offer advice and mentorship to others.
- Ensure all job responsibilities are carried out safely, adhering to safety codes and guidelines. Prioritize the well-being of all personnel involved.
- Identify and resolve problems to achieve set objectives, including addressing complex technical issues at their root.
- Contribute to the development of team members within your area of expertise.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College or University.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical or operational roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in manufacturing control systems, such as Rockwell programming, PLC logic, HMI, instrumentation, and power distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects through Electrical Engineering knowledge.
- Proven track record of collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes within specified timelines.
- Experience coordinating with external technical service providers.
- Specialized technical knowledge in tissue and/or towel manufacturing processes.
- Over 4 years of experience in various plant and staff engineering roles, including maintenance and operations.
- Familiarity with machine startups.
- Previous involvement with external technical service providers.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&E, product supply, mill operations, procurement, marketing, and equipment suppliers.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Leading and managing projects to achieve business objectives successfully.
- Skilled in communicating with individuals and groups effectively.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Electrical Engineer at Kimberly-Clark, you will lead the design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes to ensure safety and performance standards are met. This role requires expertise across various technologies and the ability to provide guidance to team members. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will receive general project objectives to drive your work.
