    Are you interested in being part of a cutting-edge health-tech company that's transforming health diagnostics? Our client, a well-funded Connecticut-based startup, is looking for a Staff level Electrical Engineer to join their team.


    The Opportunity:

    As a Staff Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal in the startup role with full development lifecycle responsibility for innovative products.


    Responsibilities:
    Own hardware electrical systems architectureCreate original designs for novel In-Vitro Diagnostics medical devicesCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for rapid design, prototyping, and testing of electrical systemsDevelop and document tests to ensure optimal system performanceLead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design Verification Testing (DVT) analyses for electrical/electronic hardware designsDesign for higher-volume, lower-cost manufacturing

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of professional experienceExpertise in electrical systems architecture, schematic capture, and PCB layoutHands-on lab experience with electronic circuits and test equipmentExperience with component and circuit simulations, DFM, and DVT analysesProficiency in Altium or similar tools, BOM management, and version control systems (Git)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Bonus Points if You Have:
    Experience with rapid prototype fabrication techniquesProduct design and manufacturing experienceFamiliarity with fields such as microfluidic design, molecular biology, optics.
