    Description

    Job Description:

    Coordinate and supervise vertical construction for multiple projects

    Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project completion

    Schedule and oversee subcontractors' efforts, directing their work as needed

    Develop and maintain relationships with building officials and inspectors, scheduling required inspections

    Identify and address project risks, including safety concerns, subcontractor issues, and scheduling conflicts

    Review subcontractor payment requests and manage billing processes

    Ensure completion of all work prior to inspections and product acceptance

    Inspect subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with quality standards

    Create, maintain, and update project schedules, distributing updates to subcontractors and vendors

    Hold/participate in safety and subcontractor meetings, maintaining meeting minutes

    Manage materials ordering, delivery, and storage to meet project schedule

    Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety regulations and manage site conditions for safety

    Manage community SWPPP program and report on inspections

    Review plans for mistakes and inconsistencies, making recommendations for resolution

    Organize documentation and paperwork according to company policies

    Work with third-party consultants and inspectors, scheduling inspections and addressing exceptions

    Participate in company-provided training on safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention

    Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable laws and regulations

    Maintain up-to-date MSDS specs and update BuildPro scheduling software daily

    Deliver projects on time and within budget

    Mentor and, in some cases, manage Field Managers

    Perform any other duties as assigned

    Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent preferred

    Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing high-volume single-family homebuilding construction

    Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with BuildPro scheduling software preferred

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

    Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and rough trade work

    Familiarity with federal, state, and local codes related to construction

    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

    -Townhome Construction experience a plus
