- Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.
- Processes security information and data for personnel security records, security clearances, and document control.
- Maintains lock and key records.
- Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
- Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances.
- Support Classified Document Control by maintaining controlled security documents, media and information.
- Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
- Performs clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities.
- Manage secure conference room calendars and offer security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned.
- General Personnel Security duties: Personnel Security Questionnaires, Program Access Requests, foreign travel and contact forms, etc.
- Other administrative security functions/duties as necessary.
- Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and 4 years of additional education and/or Security related experience.
- Current Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret.
- In-scope investigation (T3, T3R, T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access.
- Candidate must have strong customer service & communication skills
- Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to work independent.
- Ability to multi-task and deal with priorities.
- Ability to lead team projects and work well within a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience Interpreting government requirements documents.
- Experience with conducting security briefings.
- Experience with Access Control Systems (Lenel/Entre).
- Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) government database.
- Knowledge of Database Application (Enterprise Security Information System (ESIS/SIMS)).
- Knowledge of Safeguarding, control of accountability classified material.
- Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines

join our team in Rolling Meadows, IL to support multiple programs in the Navigation, Targeting & Survivability business unit.

Salary Range:
$46,400 - $77,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
