    Solv Health is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a significant backend focus to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions and collaborating effectively on full-stack projects. Your expertise will be key in enhancing the backend capabilities of our team, which predominantly consists of engineers with full-stack skills leaning towards front-end development. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our healthcare scheduling and software platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Propel the development and enhancement of our backend architecture, ensuring scalability and robust performance
    • Collaborate with full-stack engineers, contributing both to backend development and frontend (React) as needed
    • Implement and champion backend best practices and industry standards within the team
    • Continuously improve our customers' experience in cross-functional partnerships with product and customer success teams
    • Mentor team members and share expertise to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years building software as a backend or full-stack engineer in a production environment.
    • Proven skills in building software interfacing with/exchanging data with transactional APIs/services synchronously and asynchronously and integrating into existing workflows
    • Proficient in Python with experience with frameworks like Fast API (or Django)
      • Hands-on experience with:
    • RDBMS databases (Postgres or MySQL) with a strong understanding of database design and query optimization
    • Caching mechanisms like Redis
    • Event-driven architecture and messaging frameworks (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ)
    • Asynchronous task management (Python RQ or Celery)
    • Comfortable contributing to frontend development / )
    • Solid understanding of secure coding practices and data security
    • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
    • Strong problem-solving and design abilities and excellent communication skills
