We are currently seeking a freelance learning therapist for our department of learning therapy in Logansport, LA.


In this role, you will conduct learning therapy sessions with our students who have been diagnosed with dyslexia or dyscalculia.

These therapy sessions typically take place in the afternoons and in the students' homes.


Our systemic and integrative therapy approach includes not only direct work with the child, but also involves communication with their families, social workers, and government agencies.

Your strengths in working with individuals of diverse personalities will be utilized in this aspect of the role. You will also be responsible for attending off-site appointments on our behalf.


The time commitment for this role can be flexible and will be discussed with us based on the number of students you wish to work with.

This is a freelance position.


Your responsibilities

  • Conducting learning therapy sessions
  • Coordinating with families, social workers, and government agencies for therapy sessions

Requirements

  • Completed training as a learning therapist according to the guidelines of the Federal Association for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
  • Structured work approach
  • Enthusiasm and confidence in working with students and their families
