    Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

    for their manufacturing location near Jackson/Albion, MI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and health in a manufacturing environment.


    Responsibilities:
    Plan, develop and coordinate all safety and environmental training and audits for employees

    interpretation of and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements relating to health, safety and environmental issues as well as interfacing with same during inspections and investigations

    Manage Workers Compensation cases/issues

    Monitor and ensure accident/incident investigations completed

    Provide health, safety and environmental

    The ideal candidate will posses:
    Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Business or related field preferred; or equivalent experience

    Minimum of three years experience working in a safety capacity within a industrial manufacturing environment

    Knowledge of industrial hygiene and safety, occupational health, hazard communication, environmental regulations and permits.

    Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations as they relate to HSE


    Ability and willingness to work hands-on in an industrial environment with a variety of individuals at all levels of the organization.

    Computer skills in MS Windows including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    This position is

    100% onsite

    and reports to the Plant Manager .
