    Requirements

    Staff Clinician & Coordinator of Outreach Services - Counseling and Psychiatric Service – Georgetown University

    The central mission of Georgetown's is to collaborate directly with students and the campus community. CAPS is dedicated to helping students develop greater self-understanding, identify and solve problems, and improve academic performance through the alleviation of psychological, emotional, and cognitive barriers.

    Job Overview

    The Staff Clinician & Coordinator of Outreach Services oversees and advises Lighthouse, Georgetown University's peer support group.

    Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage outreach requests
  • Create and facilitate signature preventative outreach programming on behalf of CAPS to the campus community
  • Streamline materials for standard UCC outreach - such as stress management
  • Liaise with University offices in case of specific outreach requests

    • Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

    The Staff Clinician & Coordinator of Outreach Services interacts with students and with other University offices.

    Requirements and Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Counseling Clinical Psych licensed license eligible in the District within one year of hire
  • Master's degree in Social Work Licensed Professional Counselor licensed at the start of hire

    • Preferred Qualification

    Experience in a UCC and/or outreach programming
