Description

As a Returns Material Handler at Sufna Tech, you will be responsible for managing the processing and handling of returned products and materials.

Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient and accurate processing of returns, including inspection, sorting, documentation, and inventory management.

You will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of returned items and facilitating the return process to support customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive returned products and materials from customers, retailers, or internal departments. Inspect returned items for damage, defects, or missing components. Determine the condition and eligibility of returned items for restocking, refurbishment, or disposal.
  • Sort returned items into designated categories based on their condition and disposition status. Separate salvageable items for refurbishment or resale from nonsalvageable items for disposal or recycling. Follow established guidelines and procedures for sorting and segregation.
  • Document returned items accurately in the inventory management system or returns processing software. Record relevant information such as product details, condition assessments, return reasons, and disposition actions taken. Maintain organized records of return transactions for tracking, reporting, and audit purposes.
  • Update inventory records to reflect returned items and their current status. Reconcile inventory quantities and locations to ensure accuracy and visibility of returned inventory. Coordinate with inventory control or warehouse management teams to facilitate proper storage and tracking of returned items within the warehouse or distribution center.
  • Determine the appropriate disposition of returned items based on their condition, warranty status, and company policies. Prepare salvageable items for restocking by cleaning, repackaging, and labeling them for resale. Coordinate with appropriate departments to restock returned items into inventory or return them to suppliers for credit or replacement.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their returns, including receipt confirmation, inspection results, and resolution actions taken. Respond to customer inquiries or concerns regarding returns in a timely and professional manner. Provide assistance and support to customers throughout the return process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of returned items by conducting thorough inspections and adherence to quality standards. Identify trends or patterns in returned items related to product defects, damages, or customer issues. Report quality issues or concerns to management for investigation and resolution.

Pay:
$ $32.10 per hour
