Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will lead the 3 PeopleSoft projects (Procurement, Absence Mgmt. and Timekeeping) to implement clear, consistent and standardized processes for Council-wide implementation working with a PeopleSoft implementation partner.
The Procurement project will provide real-time solution where one didn't exist before, as well as consolidate a matrix of tools with a more cost-effective contract and supplier mgmt.

Requirements of the role:Drive planning, execution and tracking of all project deliverables.
Develop and administer the project budget in collaboration with the program managers and project sponsors.
Coordinate the work of internal and external participants, stakeholders, and consultants or vendors to ensure successful completion of the projects.
Be responsible for managing the development and implementation of the project that require collaboration and coordination with various work units.
Manage resources and schedules to successful completion ensuring that projects meet scope, cost and quality requirements as determined in the planning stages.
Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities, negotiating with other departments and/or units for resources if necessary.Communicate with project sponsors, program manager, change manager and stakeholders in all stages of the project through regular written and verbal communications to keep them updated on the progress and aware of next steps; provide project updates in front of large groups, including Senior Management.
Collaborate with the other BPSI project managers and BPSI Program manager to identify how the PeopleSoft projects will impact other projects.
