    Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking several ***Shelter Behavioral Health Aides ***
    • Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience required working with the homeless or the behavioral health field.
    Full Time Shifts:Wednesday through Sunday (8am to 4pm)Wednesday through Sunday (4pm to 12am)Thursday through Monday (12am to 8am)
    Part Time Shifts:Saturday through Sunday (8am to 4pm)Saturday through Sunday (4pm to 12am)Saturday through Sunday (12am to 8am)
    Responsibilities :A Day in the life of a Shelter Behavioral Health Aide:
    As a Shelter Behavioral Health Aide you will be responsible for providing direct services to persons experiencing homelessness that are residing in supervised and supportive shelters. The Shelter Behavioral Health Aide is responsible tor working both indoor and outdoor at the site. Most of the shift you will be on your feet and walking. Must be able to assist with cleaning of sleeping site and able to handle crisis situations as they arise.
    Requirements for the Shelter Behavioral Health Aide :
    • Required: 1+ years of experience working directly with the mental health population in a shelter setting or behavioral health facility
    • Required: Ability to work indoors and outdoors
    • Required: BLS
    • Required: Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
    • Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
    • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Required: Ability to deal with crisis situations
    Preferred Qualifications for the Shelter Behavioral Health Aide :
    • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human services
