    Job Overview

    The Education Coordinator plays a vital role in the development and implementation of an engaging and effective education curriculum to support the learning objectives at the center. They collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the delivery of high-quality lessons and maintain a conducive learning environment. The Education Coordinator also focuses on professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Understand and execute the center's curriculum to promote children's cognitive development.
    • Work with teachers to create lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and provide necessary materials.
    • Offer coaching and support for early childhood education and skill enhancement.
    • Review child assessments and provide feedback for improvement.
    • Facilitate communication of curriculum and activities with parents.
    • Identify training opportunities for staff development.
    • Conduct classroom observations for effective teaching practices.
    • Keep updated on early learning trends and implement curriculum enhancements.
    • Support children with academic and special needs.
    • Assist in implementing IFSP/IEP goals for children.
    • Ensure compliance with center policies and regulations.
    • Engage in continuous professional development.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 3 years experience in high-quality early childhood settings.
    • Strong grasp of child development principles.
    • Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and adaptability to new curricula.
    • Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
    • Experience with special needs education is beneficial.
    • Clear background check and health screenings required.
    • Educational Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related field (required).
    • Special Needs education background (preferred).
    • Master's Degree (preferred).

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
