    Description

    The primary focus of Prospect Select Baseball is to offer players and teams maximum exposure at top-notch venues, meeting the needs of college coaches and pro scouts. Creating an exclusive setting, Prospect Select provides the ideal platform for the scouting staff and scouts/coaches to witness top teams from various regions compete. Leveraging established relationships, Prospect Select organizes premium events centered on quality play, ensuring a top-tier experience for all involved.

    Position Overview

    This role is essential in managing the event operations at Prospect Select Baseball. Maintaining a professional image, the Lead Operator collaborates closely with the Director of Operations to guarantee prompt game starts, accurate scoring, effective umpire communication, proper field attendant training, and seamless tournament execution.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Supervise all assigned fields and facilities
    • Provide training on the ScoreBook Application to field attendants
    • Allocate field attendants to their designated fields
    • Ensure playing fields are safe and in optimal condition
    • Ensure umpires and teams are present before start times
    • Have a thorough understanding of tournament rules, formats, and schedules
    • Communicate schedule changes to umpires, field managers, trainers, and facility operators
    • Manage inventory for all tournament equipment such as baseballs, tents, awards, tables, chairs, staff apparel, radar guns, gate wristbands, and payment devices
    • Organize hotel room lists and accommodations
    • Aid in recruiting and overseeing field managers
