- Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring that shipments are dispatched on time and in accordance with customer requirements. Coordinate shipping activities, including receiving, packing, labeling, and shipment of goods, to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance processes, including inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the shipping department, implementing best practices and procedures to optimize workflows.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of shipping activities, including preparing shipping documents, bills of lading, and other required paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal departments, internal and external customers, and carriers regarding shipping-related inquiries, issues, and updates.
- Problem Solving: Address shipping-related problems or delays in a timely and effective manner, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Receive and process orders from customers, internal departments, or suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Requires the ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for managing shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers or other destinations.
Provide leadership and direction to shipping personnel and work closely with other departments to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in computer applications, including shipping software and Microsoft Office
