JOB DESCRIPTION The Sorbian National Ensemble (SNE) in Bautzen is committed to preserving, promoting, and developing Sorbian art and culture through its three professional divisions: ballet, choir, and orchestra.

The SNE has toured in over 40 countries and has performed in renowned venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, Prinzregententheater Munich, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, and the Hamburg State Opera.

Most of its performances take place in German-speaking regions and the Lusatia region. We are currently seeking a Booking and Tour Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.

We are looking for a flexible and resilient individual who will enthusiastically promote the SNE's productions to national and international event organizers


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing and sales of performances while adhering to the budget
  • Creating offers and contracts for performances
  • Negotiating and coordinating performance details with event organizers
  • Managing logistics and travel arrangements for performances
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new partnerships
  • Collaborating with the SNE's artistic and administrative teams to ensure successful performances

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in booking and tour management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Knowledge of the performing arts industry
