    Description:
    The Site Manager(Project manager) is responsible for supervising a team(s) of field employees in providing services to clients that result in the safe disposal of hazardous & non-hazardous materials. This role will coordinate subcontractors and field personnel within the job specifications & regulatory guidelines and provide guidance and training to all field service employees. The Site Manager prepares project estimates/proposals and assists with contract preparation. The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager are to manage team(s) including hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions. They will recognize and act on opportunities to increase value added services that benefit customers, while maintaining a professional image by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and/or potential problems. This role is also responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness. Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, policy/sustainability/chemistry, related science discipline OR equivalent work experience
  • Must have 3+ years of sustainability/waste experience (operations and/or management)
  • 1+ year in managerial role strongly preferred but not required
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Training preferred but not required
  • DOT, RCRA Training preferred but not required
  • Must have analytical observation & decision-making ability, seasoned judgment & ability to inspire a common long-term vision
  • Knowledge of various customer industries with regards to organizational structure, maintenance, services, operations, & safety
  • Skills in supervision, planning, coordination, budget preparation, & contract negotiations a plus
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) & administrative/ problem solving skills
  • Must have a Valid Driver's license w/ safe driving record
  • Must be willing/able to work on site as necessary for this hybrid role (remote/from home & onsite)
