This is your training:

At the OQ training center, you will receive comprehensive basic training. You will learn about manufacturing processes and optimize your manual skills. The focus is on working with metal and plastics, using techniques such as filing, chiseling, sawing, drilling, and milling. In addition, you will learn assembly and maintenance techniques, how to use machinery and tools, and how to read technical drawings.

What you bring:

Secondary school leaving certificate to general higher education entrance qualification, manual dexterity, a special interest in technology, and good math skills.

This could be your profession:

As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with a focus on maintenance, you will work in workshops, production facilities, and technical areas. Your responsibilities include ensuring that machines, production, and operating systems are always ready for use. Your tasks include regular maintenance work, repairs, or the replacement of plant components. You will use your skills in turning, milling, grinding, and various joining techniques, such as welding and screwing, as well as your know-how in assembling and adjusting components.
