    Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Rochester, NY.

    As a Neuro ICU Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients with neurological disorders and injuries.

    You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, seizures, and neurosurgical interventions

    *Key Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients admitted to the Neuro ICU, including neurological exams, monitoring vital signs, and evaluating neurological status.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as CT scans, MRIs, and EEGs, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide specialized treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
    • Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
    • Adhere to professional standards, ethical principles, and regulatory requirements governing advanced practice nursing.
    *Requirements of the* *Nurse Practitioner:
    • BLS Certification
    • PALS Certification
    • TNCC Certification
    • 2 years Critical Care + some Neurosurgical/Neurology experience
    • NP or NCCPA Certified
