    **Description**

    **Job Summary**

    Supervises all warehouse activities including shipping and receiving of events. Oversees all receiving and distribution operations. Plans and monitors optimal space utilization and efficient inventory flow. Supervises subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

    Supervises warehouse personnel including leading and directing team members, scheduling to meet event needs

    Responsible for all warehouse/logistical activities including shipping and receiving including tracking of all packages

    Ensures all safety requirements are met for the Warehouse Team

    Ensures correct shipping and receiving serving as an escalation point for damaged/missing shipments

    Maintains inventory and associated records ensuring quality control

    Develop and maintain department work instructions for all tasks and measures performance of department activities

    Continuously improve warehouse operations

    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    **Competencies:**

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively

    Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated

    Ability to effectively manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency

    Strong communications skills, both verbal and written

    Possess excellent organizational and follow up skills, with strong attention to detail

    Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, procedures and situations

    Proficient in Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite

    **Education and/or Experience**: (includes certificate & licenses)

    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience/combined education

    Minimum 4 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics

    3 years medical logistics experience preferred

    **4 years:** Supervisory or management experience in logistics.

    **3 years:** Medical logistics experience preferred.
