- Interface with internal and external business partners to maintain a unified approach to tax management.
- Manage audits, overseeing the gathering, analysis, and reporting of data to management and business partners.
- Recommend, manage implementation, and oversee adherence to process improvement strategies.
- Manage, prepare, and ensure compliance for domestic, international, local, state, federal, and/or franchise income, sales and use, and/or property tax returns.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual filings, including estimated payment calculations.
- Conduct tax saving analyses, ensuring the proper application of exemptions, claims, credits, abatements, and other tax-favorable methods.
- Field standard to complex inquiries from internal and/or external business partners and clients.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures, emphasizing accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated on current laws, rules, and regulations related to taxes and their impact on the organization.
- Directly coach, train, and supervise employees, fostering personal and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field 4+ years of related tax accounting/analytical experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proficient in utilizing financial reporting and tax accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
