- Lead and manage the professional tax team
- Ensure compliance obligations are met by managing the tax calendar
- Collaborate with the Sr. Tax Manager on preparing the Firm's Federal Tax Return
- Review state and local tax returns prepared by the team
- Provide necessary tax compliance information to Firm partners
- Interact with partners to address tax-related inquiries
- Handle inquiries from taxing authorities and manage tax audits
- Conduct analysis and research on tax issues
- Maintain confidential partner and Firm information
- Build strong relationships with peers, Firm Leadership, partners, and consultants
- Communication skills are key for interactions with various stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- CPA license or Masters degree in Taxation required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a structured tax department
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and tax preparation software
- Project management skills
