- Provides individual and family psychotherapy in a school based, community, and/or clinic setting to children with mental health diagnosis, or are at the onset of mental illness, and may be experiencing a family disruption or school problem.
- Will travel to client homes for appointments when needed.
- Clinician will ensure compliance with productivity standards set by the Program Coordinator by scheduling determined number of clients for weekly session, providing follow up phone calls when clients cancel or miss scheduled appointments, and provide support staff with information for appointment reminder calls.
- Clinician will attend monthly treatment team meetings and provide the prescriber with needed information regarding clients' current situation and family circumstances.
- Clinician will attend doctor appointments as needed, will discuss options/goals for clients receiving services, and will provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
- Clinician will embrace the key values of clinical services: empowerment, normalization, rehabilitation, and continuity of care.
- This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
- Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
- Attends supervision on a weekly basis without tardiness.
- Attends administrative team meeting on a monthly basis without tardiness.
- Responds to all flags, emails, and voicemails within 2 business days.
- Maintains a 90% benchmark for Crisis Plan completion.
- Submits all progress notes within 2 days of the occurrence.
- Completes treatment plan during first 30 days of treatment.
- 15% chart sample evidence in notes that therapist has addressed medication compliance with the client.
- 15% of chart sample indicates in notes that client's goals are consistent with assessment.
- 15% of chart sample indicates in notes that services are consistent with goals.
- 15% of chart sample indicates in notes that clients are involved in their treatment.
- 15% of chart sample indicates in notes that participants had positive outcomes.
- 15% of chart sample indicates in notes that services related to goals/objectives.
- 15% of chart sample demonstrates that services are documented, and treatment plans are reviewed and updated in accordance with SSOC.
- 15% chart sample demonstrates in notes therapist's knowledge of community resources and adequate linkage.
- Submits a minimum of 32 face to face contact hours per week.
- Starting salary for this position is approximately $47,838 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

- Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Master's degree in Human Services or related field, with course work or experience in the areas of trauma, cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual disabilities.
- One year experience in a human services or related field preferred.
- Exposure to biological hazards.
- Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).
- This position requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, getting down on knees, running and walking.
