- Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and provide menus upon seating.
- Assist guests in making menu selections and answer any questions about menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests' tables.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Table Maintenance:
- Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware.
- Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set before seating guests.
- Monitor dining areas and promptly clean up spills or messes as needed.
- Reset tables efficiently for the next guests, ensuring a smooth turnover.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas at all times.
- Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
- Coordinate with other servers and restaurant staff to provide seamless service.
- Work as part of a team to meet service standards and guest satisfaction goals.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as hosting, bussing tables, or running food.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to hotel policies and procedures.
