For some, traveling and being away is fun; however, many travelers miss being home. Out Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Room Attendant, your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
**You Will Make A Difference By:**
Cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Adhering to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
Stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
Dusting all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
Pushing and pulling vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
Visually inspecting rooms for cleanliness and appearance.
Complying with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
**You Will Bring To The Table:**
Previous hotel/resort experience
The ability to communicate effectively
Self-starting personality with an even disposition
A professional appearance and manner at all times.
Ability to communicate well with guests
A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Willingness to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces
High level of attention to detail
Flexibility and ability to work various shifts
Ability to work in high pressure situations
