    The Hired Guns are seeking an experienced UX-UI Designer with significant visual design talent and a track record of designing responsive websites for mobile, tablet, and desktop that are beautiful, compelling and highly intuitive.

    You'll be swooping in to execute core UX redesigns for a fleet of well-known entertainment brands.

    This is a fully remote, 6-month full-time contract opportunity with real impact that could lead into a permanent hire down the road.

    This top entertainment company is revamping its digital properties in a major way.

    They've committed to a full responsive design approach, and they're looking for a crack UX-UI Designer to take the lead in crafting new responsive features and interactions, redesigning core user experiences including navigation, homepage, and individual show landing pages.

    You'll be creating a new visual language of simplified UI elements for each brand that scale consistently across mobile and desktop platforms while still elevating and reinforcing existing brand identity.

    As an authoritative voice for UX and UI in general, as well as for responsive design in particular, you'll collaborate effectively with senior management, product managers, and developers to communicate and build consensus for ideas and provide clear updates and recommendations.

    You'll rapid-prototype your concepts using tools such as Invision or Sketch, storyboarding user journeys and carrying out fast, lean "guerrilla" UI testing tactics.

    You've got an amazing portfolio to show for your 5+ years of experience designing eye-catching, easy to use, powerful responsive websites.

    You've developed a systematic approach to responsive design that reflects your philosophical commitment to the responsive approach:

    this isn't just something you picked up: you've thought deeply about how to create a better streaming video experience across devices.

    You're just as strong a visual designer as you are a UI and UX designer.

    You're an Agile acolyte with meaningful experience working on large consumer-facing brands (preferably in the entertainment or travel spaces), whether from the client side, the agency side, or both.

    Significant work with streaming video is a must.

    You're heavily into pop culture and entertainment, with an instinct for what viewers are passionate about, in the right now.

    You're highly adept in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, Invision, and other high-fidelity prototyping tools.

    You pick up new tools and technologies at lightning speed, and are a clear and effective communicator who knows how all the pieces of the big picture fit together.
