Role Overview

As the Product Marketing Manager for Sponsorships on the Global Brand & Video Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the global go-to-market strategy and product roadmap for TikTok's premium sponsorship products.

From significant events like the Olympics to exclusive premium programs, you'll lead initiatives that resonate with audiences while driving brand success on TikTok.


Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with various teams including sales, product management, partnerships, and regional go-to-market teams to identify key gaps and develop strategic directions for our sponsorship products and offerings. Drive both inbound and outbound product marketing activities.
  • Market Understanding: Utilize your expertise in premium video and sponsorships to create short and long-term strategies tailored for brand advertisers. Analyze market trends and competition to positively influence advertisers and partners.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Define clear strategies for TikTok's global sponsorship programs, ensuring effective communication of value propositions. Work closely with the sales team to understand market needs and guide product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to set objectives and develop strategies. Collaborate on regional strategies, programs, and initiatives for effective execution.
  • Product Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of TikTok's video advertising products, partnerships, advertising systems, processes, and measurement tools. Utilize these insights to enhance product offerings and help customers achieve their goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree or higher. 4+ years of experience in product marketing or management focusing on premium video ads or custom programs. 3+ years in digital advertising, preferably at a platform or media company.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of brand advertising objectives. Proficiency in product, sales, and marketing processes. Ability to create compelling narratives and simplify marketing messaging. Strategic mindset to drive complex initiatives and challenge traditional thinking. Commercial savvy in building business cases. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
