We are currently seeking a full-time and permanent employee for our facility in Kassel, located in Keomah Village, IA.

BHV GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of AWO-Nordhessen. We provide services to senior facilities, daycares, social institutions, and day care centers throughout Nordhessen. In addition, we operate our "Meals on Wheels" program at seven locations in the region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for:

  • The production of meals for our senior residents
  • Managing the kitchen and cleaning teams, including scheduling, organizing work processes, and providing guidance to employees
  • Ordering and storing food and supplies according to demand and in a proper manner
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations, HACCP concept, occupational safety and environmental guidelines, and maintaining the quality of meals and production
  • Checking the cleanliness of the facility
  • Coordinating and monitoring contracted services to ensure quality assurance

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have successfully completed a vocational training as a cook or have comparable qualifications
  • Experience in the field of communal catering, specifically in senior care, and knowledge of HACCP guidelines are desirable
