    Job Description

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Monitor, review, and track daily Sales & Inventory transactions in Quantum.
    Work with sales and product line teams to ensure accurate costing in Quantum.
    Reconcile and monitor open exchange transactions, including follow-up with sales team.
    Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts such as Sales, Cost of Sales, Inventory, Fixed Assets, etc.
    Review various P&L accounts and reclass transactions as needed.

    Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of the inventory system including physical inventories and auditing consignment material in other locations.

    Prepare monthly reports and schedules for corporate requirements.
    Prepare audit schedules and compile supporting documentation as needed.
    Provide financial analysis and support for weekly and monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
    Support Manager in continuous improvements of Accounting and Finance processes.
    Support Manager in creating and documenting internal controls for all departments.

    Develop and maintain strong working relationships with finance and operations personnel in order to effectively manage the many day-to-day transactions in the Quantum system.

    Other tasks and projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Skills:
    Extensive experience with complex inventory and business systems in the aerospace industry. The ability to learn quickly and proactively is critical.
    Must be able to work independently and prioritize activity without constant, close supervision.
    Must demonstrate an effective communication skill/style to present complex ideas in a compelling and comprehensive manner.
    Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products. Quantum familiarity a plus.
    A relentless and versatile learner who is open to change and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
    Strong understanding of systems, financial, and operational processes.
    Financial forecasting and budgeting experience is preferred.


    Requirements:

    Education:
    BA or BS in Accounting or Finance
    MBA or CPA preferred but not required.

    Experience:


    5 + years of progressive experience including at least 2 years in a manufacturing, preferably aerospace or similar environment but not required.
