Our staff is now geographically spread well beyond our Colorado Springs headquarters, offering remote positions across the United States. About the Position:The Compliance and Administration Coordinator will support efforts to manage risk and compliance for USA Cycling. This position plays an important role in ensuring compliance with the policies of the US Center for SafeSport ("the Center"), the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), and other organizational policies and procedures. This role provides administrative support, including record-keeping, compliance tracking, and audit support. The role will also support contract management and be responsible for the conflict of interest disclosure process.
    Supervisor Responsibilities: None FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Core Responsibilities:
    • Support compliance efforts for all Sport Performance programs and trips by coordinating and tracking pre-trip contractor and athlete documentation requirements
    • Review and maintain systems for tracking membership compliance with USA Cycling's Safe Sport Program
    • Assist with recordkeeping requirements related to organizational policies and procedures
    • Support contract management by tracking key dates, provisions, and insurance
    • Maintain Sport Performance athlete and contractor databases, ensuring all information is accurate
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Assist the Sr. Director of Athlete Services, Safe Sport, and Compliance with the Center's audit by conducting document review and collection and completing other audit-related tasks.
    • Update USA Cycling's adjudication logs weekly.
    • Assist the Sr. Director of Athlete Services, Safe Sport, and Compliance in managing the Safe Sport email inbox.
    • Coordinate the on-going conflict of interest disclosure process, including collection, initial review, and escalation of disclosures.
    • Maintain thorough record-keeping and compliance tracking.
    • Assist with USOPC audits and reporting.
    • Support USA Cycling's background check process and appeals.
    • Other duties as requested and/or determined.
    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Exceptional organization, management, communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through
    • Ability to take initiative and execute responsibilities independently
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
    Physical Requirements:
    • Positioned in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
    • Sitting for extended periods of time.
    • Occasional standing, squatting, reaching and bending.
    • Ability to receive information through oral communication both in-person, over video conferencing platforms, and on the telephone.
    • Manual dexterity is needed for using a computer keyboard.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Must have adequate vision to operate a computer and complete paperwork.
    • Occasional travel and work at outdoor events requiring long periods of standing
    Software Experience:
    • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel
    Travel:
    • Occasional – 5%
    Compensation:
    • $40,000-$45,000
