While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position self and balance. The employee must occasionally move (including lift, carry, push, and pull) up to 100 pounds or more.
The employee must be able to perceive and respond to sounds and alarms; communicate effectively with others; be able to observe and monitor situations and details at close range in full and dimmed light.
The employee may be required to move and/or stay in a stationary position in various settings for up to 12 hours at a time in addition to the preparation and closure of a clinical shift.
Rapid mobility may also be required on occasion. Physical expectations of an assigned clinical facility may vary and be subject to change.Stress levels may be high due to frequently dealing with numerous students, patients, family members, and other healthcare providers. This position demands concentration and the ability to work in emotionally charged situations.
