The W.A.S. Insurance Brokerage GmbH is a medium-sized industrial insurance broker from Bensberg.

We advise and support companies in all insurance matters, from contract design to complete claims settlement.

Responsibilities


Structure of the dual study program:

  • You will start your three-year dual study program on August 1st
  • Your lectures will take place two to three days a week at the Technical University of Cologne, Campus Südstadt. The remaining days and during semester breaks, you will work at W.A.S. Insurance Brokerage GmbH
  • After 2.5 years, you will take the final exam to become a certified insurance and finance specialist (m/f/d) at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
  • You are entitled to vacation, which you can schedule during the practical phase and semester breaks
  • You will complete your dual study program with a Bachelor's thesis at the Technical University of Cologne and then hold the academic title of Bachelor of Science

Your main tasks:


  • You analyze the individual insurance needs of the customer
  • You make offers and create contracts
  • You make changes to contracts and carry out measures for maintaining and preserving contracts
  • You handle claims and inform the customer
  • You will primarily work in the office with a variety of customer situations, while the theory will be taught in lectures
