Position Tittle - CT Tech

Location: Lancaster, PA

Duration: 13 Week.

Job Description:

Perform CT scans on patients using specialized imaging equipment, ensuring proper positioning and technique to obtain high-quality images.
Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Administer contrast media as necessary, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Monitor patients during CT procedures, recognizing any adverse reactions or complications and taking appropriate action as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging protocols, patient history, and procedural documentation, in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results, providing additional imaging as needed for further evaluation.
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols, infection control measures, and quality assurance standards.
Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

Additional Info:

CT Tech needed to work 9am-9pm W/Th/Fr, no weekends or holiday rotation required.
Client is open to making this position 4-10s.
Client does not schedule tech with a break, though that does not necessarily mean they do not get one. No holiday rotation required.
Looking for someone with at least 2 years CT experience. Lancaster General has Canon CT units at facility. Experience with those scanners is preferred, but not required.
Both covid and flu vaccine are required. Medical and/or religious declinations are accepted with proper documentation.
