    Description

    Job Description and Duties:

    Working under the guidance of the IT Manager I, the IT Specialist I is responsible for developing innovative procurement approaches and managing all aspects of complex acquisitions related to IT and Telecom projects in accordance with relevant regulations.

    The IT Specialist I position falls under the Conflict of Interest Code, involving decision-making that may impact personal financial interests. Compliance with Conflict of Interest Code requirements is mandatory.

    Working Conditions:

    • Travel to customer department sites in Sacramento County and occasionally other locations within California.
    • Possible work outside regular hours and telecommuting.
    • Required to carry a mobile computing device (e.g., cell phone, laptop).
