- Effectively manage the nursing department related to residents, employees, visitors, and the public.
- Assist with ensuring nursing staff is providing quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Assist with overseeing the provision of appropriate medications, treatments, and general nursing services according to the resident's care plan and physician directed orders.
- Assist in scheduling and perform resident rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Assist in maintaining administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care and of medications and treatments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid MO State license as an RN.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a long-term care environment.
- One to three (1-3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing.

The Assistant Director of Nursing position requires an individual who is dependable, self-sufficient and can easily multi-task.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
