Lead the performance of Customer Service Vehicles DiagnosticsLead, Manage, and Develop Technician team to achieve production goals,improve skillset and individual and team performanceEnsures that all positions are properly always staffedPlan and Control the flow of vehicles through the Customer Service Shopprocess by proper distribution of technician workload MVI starts, MVIDiagnostic, Mechanical Completions, Parts Return cars, Recheck Vehiclesand Heavy Labor DistributionAchieves daily and weekly production targets in mechanical work zoneMaintains Tech billed hours per unit and accuracy at or below Mei GroupstandardsOversees the vehicle Approval Process for mechanical inspection andmanages vehicle priority dispatching using the Mei Group productionsystemPartner with third party vendors to provide direction for mechanicalproduction expectations and coverage as neededDrives team and store performance by maintaining comeback standardsand goals at or below company targetsPerform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Must own your own toolsRead, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate recordsComplete provided training in all areas of the production processMulti-task in a high energy, fast-paced work environmentSpeak, listen, and write effectively in dealing with customers and associatesacross departments5 Year of experience as a manager or Automotive Lead Technician preferredAbove average computer skills, with knowledge of shop work systemsMust possess a valid driver license that meets the MEI AUTO Driver Safetycriteria, as explained in Auto StandardsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)
ASE Certification is a plus but not requiredChampion and implement both company and store initiatives for consistentexecution, continuous improvement and ensures team is trained on MEI Auto StandardsPartner with Senior leadership to address operational constraintsEstablish daily shop plan with staffing targetsDisplays financial responsibilityMay require walking or standing for an extended periodCombination of both indoor and outdoor environment, including working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditionsRotating schedule with shifts that will include, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour daysSchedule:
