    Summary:

    Seeking a motivated associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience in litigation to join the firm's Litigation Department. Candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and organized. Shareholder-track opportunities are available for qualified candidates. All inquiries are confidential. Please include a cover letter and resume when applying.

    Responsibilities:


    • Conduct legal research and writing.


    • Draft pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda.


    • Manage case dockets.


    • Assist with discovery and document review.


    • Utilize trial advocacy skills in depositions, hearings, oral arguments, and trials.


    • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.


    • Comply with all legal standards, regulations, and rules of professional conduct.

    Qualifications:


    • Juris doctorate from accredited law school. Academic transcript and class rank requested.

    Licensed in Iowa or pass the Iowa Bar Exam within 1 year (or waive under reciprocity).


    • 2 to 5 years of litigation experience.


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • • Technological proficiency in legal research tools.
