    Ascendum Machinery, a leading Volvo Construction Equipment dealer, is offering an excellent professional sales opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative position in Georgia. Applicant must live or be willing to relocate to the Buford, GA area. The position reports to Sales Manager.

    FLSA STATUS: The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to classify their employees as being either exempt or non-exempt for the purpose of being paid overtime wages. The essential duties of this job are such that the employee is classified according to the FLSA as a Non-Exempt employee.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Assists Account Managers with quotes to improve customer response time.

    · Ensures profit targets are met on equipment sales and rentals.

    · Develops a lead management process for Georgia.

    · Research market data (EDA, market reports, etc.) and utilizes this information to prospect and make cold calls.

    · Shares market competitive data with management.

    · Develop and maintains strong relationships with vendors and contacts in all regions and in the corporate office.

    · Serves as inside sales contact for walk-in customers.

    Requirements:

    EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES

    · Experience and/or Education: Bachelor's degree and/or 4 – 5 years' of job-related experience is required.

    · Computer Skills: The employee can use the equipment and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Possesses good interpersonal skills.

    · Possesses strong attention to detail.

    · Raises issues and concerns promptly.

    · Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.

    · Documents work in a clear and concise manner.

    · Possesses and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

    · Possesses and maintains an approachable and friendly demeanor.

    · Works independently with minimal direction and oversight.
