"Join the Kiezmarkt family in Calvert Beach, MD As independent merchants, we have been running our business for 30 years, with two Edeka markets in Karlshorst and Pankow, as well as three Kiezmarkets in Mitte and Friedrichshain.


We are currently seeking Sales/Cashiers (m/f/d) for our Edeka Kiezmarkt in Neumannstraße 70 in Pankow who enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality.


Position type:
Full-time and part-time


Your responsibilities include:

  • Operating a modern scanner cash register
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Ordering and stocking merchandise
  • Assisting customers
  • Adhering to HACCP, EDEKA's QS guidelines, and other legal regulations

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the food retail industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of cash register operation, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, etc.
  • Interest in trade and a passion for food
  • Excellent customer service, dedication, responsibility, and flexibility

Your working hours and location:

  • Fulltime or parttime
  • Rotating shifts within the market's opening hours
