    DESCRIPTION

    This position coordinates and supports cross-sectional projects within the Office of Child and Family Well-Being's Strategic Initiatives Unit.

    The employee must have advanced collaboration, communication, and project management skills and be able to balance multiple competing priorities under stressful conditions for extended periods of time.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Essential Job Functions


    • Prepares and coordinates meetings, conference calls, venues, and agendas with internal and external project stakeholders
    • Consult with project leads to develop and update project and team charters.
    • Facilitate process mapping sessions to identify and document project milestones.
    • Assist project leads in developing and updating project plans and reports.
    • Assist project teams with project tasks and responsibilities as appropriate.
    • Elevate identified project barriers to leadership.
    • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
    • Provide project teams techniques and strategies that will aid in the successful execution and timely delivery of project deliverables.
    • Recommend techniques and strategies to project teams to eliminate project barriers.
    • Overnight Travel.
    Educational Requirements:


    • Bachelor's Degree, and/or degree equivalent work experience.
    Work Experience Requirements:


    • At least 3 years of proven experience in working with project teams.
    • At least 3 years of proven experience in implementing new processes or initiatives.
    • Knowledge of project management best practices.
    • Knowledge of project management and video conferencing software.
    • Skilled in utilizing project management and video conferencing software.
    • Ability to conduct and participate in conferences, workshops, and meetings.
    • Ability to proactively identify problems and generate solutions.
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form with a wide range of audiences.
