Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location: St. Louis, MO 63141

Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Rate: $22-25/hr depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Understand transportation industry processes, documentation, and terminology.
Coordinate customer shipment requests and assign/dispatch carriers using the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other resources.
Responsible for dispatching, routing, and tracking all domestic transportation modes.
Provide customer rate quotes and negotiate rates with carriers daily.
Make decisions on behalf of clients and follow specific customer requirements.
Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking skills to daily responsibilities.
Build great relationships with customers, responding promptly and following up on issues until resolved.
Collaborate in a work environment that encourages learning and process improvement across all departments.
Contribute to other projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of industry experience preferred
