The Karl Verpackungen GmbH is a locally based family business with values such as commitment and innovation. Our focus is on sustainable and individual film and paper packaging for our customers. With our modern machinery, we print with up to 12 colors, laminate and assemble films and bags of various designs.
As sustainable solutions are particularly important to us, we also manufacture compostable product packaging.

For our assembly department, we are looking for
motivated trainees for the next possible start of training:

Trainees for the position of Process Technician for Plastics and Rubber Technology (m/f/d)

(Applications for the current year are also possible retrospectively.)

Process Technician for Plastics and Rubber Technology is a 3-year training occupation. The theoretical training takes place at the vocational school in Gera.


You have:

  • a good school leaving certificate (secondary school leaving certificate),
  • a good technical understanding,
  • basic knowledge of physics to be able to build and test hydraulic or pneumatic circuits, for example,
  • basic knowledge of chemistry to better understand the properties of certain (synthetic) materials,
  • a precise and careful way of working
